Our Services
PAX Residential Services offers 24-hour Sponsored Residential Services and individualized community support for adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities in private family homes. Our services are grounded in person-centered practices and delivered in accordance with Virginia licensing and Medicaid Waiver requirements. Each individual receives a personalized Individual Service Plan (ISP) developed through a collaborative, person-centered process.
Residential Support
Sponsored Residential Living is a family-style residential option where clients live in private, sponsor-provided homes and receive one-to-one, individualized support. This model serves as an alternative to traditional group homes and emphasizes stability, personal choice, and community engagement.

Non-Center-Based Day Support
PAX Residential Services’ Non-Center-Based Day Support empowers clients to live more independent and meaningful lives within their communities. Services are provided in natural, real-world settings and focus on developing life skills, fostering social connections, and exploring personal interests.
Each client’s support is tailored to their goals and strengths, guided by their Individual Service Plan (ISP), and delivered in accordance with Virginia DBHDS regulations and Medicaid Waiver standards. Through individualized coaching and community engagement, clients gain confidence, build relationships, and participate fully in everyday community life.
Personalized Care
All services at PAX Residential Services are guided by an Individual Service Plan (ISP) developed through a collaborative, person-centered process. The ISP identifies each client’s goals, strengths, needs, and desired outcomes, ensuring supports reflect their preferences and priorities.
Supports are regularly monitored and adjusted to promote progress, independence, and meaningful participation in daily life and the community. All services are delivered in compliance with Virginia licensing standards and Medicaid Waiver requirements, ensuring quality, safety, and accountability.
