What is Sponsored Residential Living?🕊️

Sponsored Residential Living is a residential service option in which clients live in a private home with a trained Sponsor Provider rather than a group home. Supports are individualized and focused on daily living skills, independence, health and safety, and community inclusion.

How does the application and admission process work?🕊️

Referrals and applications are reviewed in accordance with PAX Residential Services’ admissions policies. Each referral is evaluated to ensure appropriate placement, compatibility, safety, and the ability to meet the client’s support needs. Our goal is to support a smooth and successful transition.

How can I become a Sponsor Provider?🕊️

Prospective Sponsor Providers complete an application and undergo required training, screening, and approval processes. Once approved, they receive ongoing guidance, resources, and support to provide high-quality, person-centered care in alignment with Virginia DBHDS regulations and best practice standards.
